The Senators lost 5-1 in an early morning start in Omaha, Nebraska this morning. They scored a run in the first inning as Jarin Gassett was hit by a pitch and stole second. Two outs later, Dan Hansen doubled him home. That was all the scoring the Senators would be able to manage. For the Senators, Dan Hansen had 2 hits and Cole Andriolo and David Lindgren each had singles.
Ryan Estep started and went 5 innings and allowed 4 earned runs with no walks and 3 strikeouts. Jarin Gassett pitched 1 inning of hitless and scoreless relief.
